Infinite I Am Conference Session
To Come to Know the Self
In this video replay from the recent Conference...
To come to our real nature, we must first come to understand what I am not. We must see clearly that I am not the body, senses or mind, that these are objects in awareness. But to free ourselves from this identification also entails an exploration of body and mind to go beyond these limitations. Then we are open to a deeper reality, to openness itself that is beyond the mind to grasp.
The restlessness that drives your search
is not a problem to fix,
it’s an invitation to look deeper.
To discover your real nature is to see
that the peace you’ve been seeking
has always been your own.

Billy Doyle
Billy had a strong spiritual orientation from an early age. In his twenties, he began exploring the nondualistic teachings of the East and felt an immediate resonance—particularly with the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, J. Krishnamurti, and Krishna Menon.
He became a yoga teacher, and upon encountering Jean Klein—a master of Advaita and yoga—he knew he had met his teacher. Billy went on to spend many years attending Klein’s retreats and dialogues.
He is the author of several books, including Yoga in the Kashmir Tradition: The Art of Listening, which follows the teachings of Jean Klein, as well as two poetic works from a non-dualistic perspective: The Mirage of Separation and Ocean of Silence. He has also compiled Invitation to Silence, a selection of sayings drawn from Jean Klein’s books.
Billy offers retreats, online yoga classes, and self-enquiry discourses. In-person yoga and self-enquiry sessions are held in Central London.
